Race day
Every run is timed, staged, launched and inspected by ASBR officials.
Each ASBR event is run by officials designated by the sanctioning body and by ASBR, as set out in section 8 of the 2026 Sporting & Technical Regulations. Names will be added once ASBR confirms them.
Race Controller

Designated by the Sanctioning Body. Enforces all sanctioning body regulations and every procedure and regulation for the race event.

Technical Inspectors

Inspect race boats and safety equipment before the event, after any wreck that is trailered back to the pits, and post-race on event winners.

All safety inspections are conducted by ASBR officials. The Safety and Risk Manager also directs some technical checks at the track.
